Established in 2008 as a way for two friends to get together and cook some awesome food, Butt Lover’s BBQ is now a fixture on the competition barbecue circuit in Oklahoma.

2008 was our first full year of competing.  We were placing high in pork butt and brisket all year and capped it off by winning Reserve Grand Champion at the Art of BBQ in Tulsa.  Our first place brisket earned us an invitation to the 2010 Chest to Chest Invitational, which is the National Brisket Championship.

We are looking forward to a strong showing in 2010 and hoping to win our first Grand Championship, securing an entry to the American Royal Invitational.
